🎆 Fireworks Are Fun… But Not for Fido! 🐶💥

As fireworks light up the sky, many dogs experience anxiety from the loud noises. If your pup struggles with noise phobia, here are a few simple tips to help keep them calm and safe:

✅ Create a Safe Space – Set up a quiet, comfy area where your dog can retreat and feel secure.

✅ Use Soothing Sounds – Play soft music, white noise, or turn on the TV to help mask the fireworks.

✅ Stay Calm & Comforting – Your dog looks to you for reassurance—stay relaxed and offer gentle cuddles if they want them.

✅ Try Calming Tools – Anxiety wraps, pheromone diffusers, or vet-recommended calming treats can make a big difference.

✅ Medication – There are many different types of medications that can help make the summer holidays safe and calm for your four-legged friends.

✅ Exercise Early – A tired pup is often a more relaxed one. Get in a good walk before the fireworks begin.

🔐 Check ID Tags & Microchips – Make sure your dog’s collar has up-to-date tags and that their microchip info is current—just in case they bolt in fear.

Let’s help our four-legged friends feel safe this firework season. 🐾❤️ If you need more information or would like to discuss medications, please give us a call at 208-466-4614
