Vaginal Inseminations are performed standing in the female after she ovulates. Ovulation is determined by progesterone trends. Vaginal insemination is usually appropriate for most females using fresh or fresh chilled semen. Inseminations are performed twice between 2 and 4 days post ovulation, usually one to two days apart. We use MiniTube of America’s Mavic catheter for vaginal inseminations.
